„i was surprised by variability of major part of old photographic positive techniques... it's a pleasure to immerse to these techniques and to search for my own way of work... it's an adventure... and i like that most of all... i stayed with large format cameras and contact copies... i didn't dare to blow up these pictures yet... maybe in the future... i have found my own way to oleography, flexography and i already have started searching my way to the most amazing historical photographic technique - wet collodion process...“[2008] gallery
„first year of research and learning, back to the craft... that could be concisely explanation of my year 2008... i haven't anticipated that much stuff... and i haven't gone so far yet... but i don't regret anything... i am happy with my decision to address myself to large format... i started with format 9x12cm, continued with 13x18cm and finished at 18x24cm... it is quite big negative... according to my decision to skip computer processing in photography finalization i have spent much effort with alternative positive contact processes... so far i have mastered three of them - argentotype (Van Dyke), kyanotype and salt process... of course the penalty for this effort was outage of my creative work... i have taken almost no pictures, except some experimental shots beacuse of familiarizing myself with material... i believe that next year will be much better in this way...“[2007] gallery
„i rate this year as a succesfully year... i managed to publish one book identity... this book talks about itself... that is my first published work to which i am very happy... as well, i managed to complete a set of photos with a title my land 007... my portfolio was published at one czech photo magazine fotoart...what else should i wish... i started to be interest of large format... insiders know about that... i started with a small one 9x12cm... that is a different way of taking photographs... that is a different world... but very interesting... i am looking forward to a next year...“[2006] gallery
„the year 2006 was very important for me... during this year i decided to make a photographs on film again... it meant that i had to obtain analog cameras... i chose middle format... but it wasn't enough... i had to refresh my memory, also join memories of my friends and search for forgotten knowledges in an old books... i had to choose the materials which would corresponded with my aims... it tooks a time and the year 2006 came to an end unexpectacly fast for me...“[2005] gallery

„i think to write about myself is the most difficult task... not even mention that i have decided to do it voluntary... maddness... initially i didn't want to start with compulsory statement... that as young boy i had taken pictures by Flexaret and played in the developer... but i can't bypass it as this belongs to me, it is a part of my life... i have got back to active photography sometimes in 2003, when i've decided to buy my first digital camera... i think and i feel that this was a good decision... at least for me... now it's your turn to judge...“
